On January 17, 2023, Corners News was recording his interaction with CBP in Laredo, Texas, at an inspection checkpoint. In this video, they are caught on camera retaliating against him for exercising his 1st and 5th amendment rights by destroying his property & seizing him and his wife for almost an hour. In the end, he was allowed to leave after the supervisor at the port of entry, and his chief agreed that he had the right to record his interaction with the agents the whole time.
