On June 2nd, 2022, Normal police officers respond to a report about a DUI. Colton Boyd and Kelsi Rich were both kicked out of a bar for being too intoxicated. After a brief struggle, Colton and Kelsi were placed under arrest.
Colton was charged with aggravated DUI (his third DUI offense in 2022), possession of a controlled substance, and resisting arrest.
He was found guilty of aggravated DUI and sentenced to a 30 month probation and 170 days in jail.
Kelsi was charged with aggravated battery, possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.
She was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance and sentenced to a 24 month probation and 30 hours of community service.
