5 THINGS YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO AT A DUI CHECKPOINT IN NEVADA:
1) You do NOT have to answer questions about where you are coming from and if/when/what you drank. 2) You do NOT have to take the field sobriety tests, including the walk and turn, one legged stand, and eye test (the cop mays still arrest you) 3) You do NOT have to take the preliminary breath test (but the cop may arrest you and have your license suspended if you refuse) 4) You do NOT have to leave your vehicle unless the cops have reason to believe you have been drinking. 5) You do NOT have to go through the checkpoint as long as you turn the car around far enough from the checkpoint.
