Bondy Law Owner Jennifer Bondy is our St. Cloud FL Business Spotlight this month. Jeanine Corcoran, broker for Corcoran Connect, interviews Jennifer Bondy as part of our local business spotlight in Saint Cloud.
Jeanine started the interview by asking Jennifer how long she has been in business. She said she has been an attorney for about 10 years now. Jennifer had previously been with a law firm in Osceola County that she managed for several years. She decided to branch out on her own.
Jennifer was asked by Jeanine how she got started in the practice of law. She started in the mortgage industry in 2006 and Jennifer transitioned from mortgage lending to title and escrow. Once she became an attorney it was kind of a natural progression to get into real estate law.
Jeanine asked Jennifer to tell the listening audience a little more about herself. She is a mom, a wife, and a great business owner. Jennifer said she is very entrepreneurial and likes to help her clients. She has found that the areas she practices in with real estate, probate, and legacy planning are a natural fit for her. This is where she is able to deliver value to her clients through her legal services.
Jeanine asked if there was one aspect of her business that was more popular than the others. Jennifer replied that what she focuses on the most is legacy planning. That may be through Wills or Trusts or some other structure through asset protection as well as real estate services. Jennifer loves representing clients in real estate transactions whether she is handling the closing from start to finish or assisting with a particular aspect such as re-zoning a property. She said she really loves real estate work.
Jeanine next asked Jennifer how she uniquely serves the Central Florida area. Her response was that she tries to serve clients in multiple locations. Today’s virtual world allows us to work with clients all around Central Florida. Jennifer provides mobile notary services or an online remote notary just to make it as convenient as possible for our clients.
Jennifer has lived in Central Florida for 10 years and came here for a man who is now her husband, Jeff. We met in law school, and he already lives here, and the rest is history. She said she loves living in Central Florida.
Jeanine asked Jennifer what she would say to someone who currently does not live in Florida but is thinking of moving here. She said to start with Orlando is one of the top tourist destinations of the world but also that there are so many great communities in and around Orlando. You have Winter Garden, Winter Park, downtown Saint Cloud, and Lake Nona. Jennifer’s recommendation was to explore these little communities and find what best suits you and your lifestyle.
Jennifer was then asked what the one place she would tell a visitor that they had to visit when coming to Central Florida aside from Disney World. She said that she and her husband are “foodies” and we eat at a lot of restaurants. There is one little restaurant that they frequent quite a bit and it’s called Little Saigon. It is a Vietnamese place, and it is one of those small hole-in-the-wall type places that many wouldn’t know about but that one should try.
