Speaker's biography: Mensah completed and B.S. in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences with a focus on molecular biology and biochemistry at Northwestern University, and, finally, a J.D. and certificate in intellectual property law, in Chicago Kent College of Law. He is now a patent senior director at AstraZeneca helping develop strategies and managing property issues for immuno-oncology biologics and cell therapy portfolios, alongside prosecuting, acquiring, and reviewing domestic and foreign patent applications, license agreements, and other contracts.
